A high-ranking British delegation has called off its visit to New Delhi just before the UK general elections, casting doubt on the discussions for a proposed India-UK free trade agreement (FTA). The delegation was set to arrive on Tuesday, 28 May, to finalise terms on several contentious issues, including work visas for Indians, duty relaxations, and imports of British-made electric vehicles
