India to face extreme heat between April-June: Will it affect voter turnout?

The IMD has warned that India will reel from extreme heat between April and June, with central and western peninsular regions likely to be most affected. This is also when the country will be holding Lok Sabha polls and Assembly elections in four states. Will soaring temperatures turn away voters from exercising their franchise?
