The woman claimed to live in Sanjay Sainik Colony and promised to help her find a job. Trusting her words, the victim went with Chhaya to her house, unaware of the horrifying ordeal that awaited her.

In her complaint, the victim alleged that Chhaya took advantage of her helplessness and coerced her into prostitution. She was taken to various locations where she was forced to engage in the illegal trade against her will.
