According to sources, Pastor Bajinder Singh accused the duo of theft and brutally assaulted them. The man was reportedly beaten up for stopping his sister from attending Singh’s church, where the pastor is accused of using deceitful tactics to convert people to Christianity. As of now, the victims have not issued any official statement regarding the attack.
Meanwhile, the statement of a woman from Kapurthala, who previously accused the pastor of sexual harassment, has been recorded in court, adding to the growing list of allegations against him.
Viral CCTV Footage Shows Assault
In a CCTV clip that has surfaced online, Pastor Bajinder Singh is seen attacking individuals inside his office. The footage shows him flinging a bag at a man and slapping him multiple times. He is also seen violently pushing and slapping a woman, first throwing a pile of papers at her before launching the assault. The disturbing video has sparked outrage on social media, with netizens demanding strict action against the controversial preacher.
A History of Crime and Fraudulent Claims
Pastor Bajinder Singh runs the Church of Glory and Wisdom and is infamous for his so-called miraculous healings. He has previously been arrested for the rape of a woman in Zirakpur, Punjab, in July 2018, and had also been jailed in connection with a murder case before that.
Despite his criminal background, Pastor Bajinder Singh has amassed a massive following online. With over 3.74 million YouTube subscribers and more than a million Instagram followers, he continues to promote his self-proclaimed healing powers. His Changai Sabhas (healing congregations) claim to cure ailments ranging from hearing disabilities and HIV-AIDS to paralysis and cancer—all through his ‘Hallelujah’ miracles.
