Picture of Ram Lalla Idol Installed in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple released

As the countdown to the historic consecration ceremony of Ayodhya’s Ram Temple continues, new images have emerged showcasing the intricacies of the idol of Ram Lalla, installed inside the sanctum sanctorum. Earlier visuals, shrouded in anticipation, depicted the Ram Lalla idol covered with a white cloth. The 51-inch idol, crafted by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, arrived at the temple in the early hours of Thursday, paving the way for the ensuing ceremonies.

Sanctum Sanctorum Placement:
On Thursday afternoon, the idol of Ram Lalla was reverently placed within the sanctum sanctorum, accompanied by the chanting of prayers, according to Arun Dixit, a priest involved in the consecration ceremony. The sacred act unfolded under the auspices of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, responsible for overseeing the temple’s construction.

Prime Minister’s Presence and Security Measures:
Trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Udupi Pejawar mutt Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha, disclosed that the formal installation of the idol would transpire during the ‘Abhijith Muhurta’ on January 22, in the esteemed presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Due to security concerns, access to the temple on the inaugural day will be restricted to invited guests.

Public Access and Inauguration:
Post the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22, the temple is anticipated to open its doors to the public the following day, offering devotees an opportunity to witness and seek blessings at the iconic Ram Temple.
