Commitment to Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas

Prime Minister Modi emphasized the philosophy of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with all, Development for all), which has been the cornerstone of his government’s policies. He stated, “In ten years, our government has worked with the philosophy of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas to do public welfare. We are dedicated to those principles which are enshrined in our constitution – Sarva Pant Sambhav.”

Politics of Saturation Over Appeasement

Criticizing the previous governance models, Modi highlighted the shift from the politics of appeasement to the politics of saturation. He remarked, “Our nation, for a long time, witnessed the politics of appeasement. We have moved ahead with the idea of Santushtikaran (satisfaction) not tushtikaran (appeasement), politics of saturation rather than appeasement.” This shift aims to ensure social justice and secularism by focusing on inclusive development rather than pandering to specific groups.

Restoring Hope and National Pride

Reflecting on the state of the nation before 2014, Modi noted that his government has infused hope and a sense of possibility in the country. “One of the biggest achievements of my government in the last ten years is that of pulling out the country from times of despair that was prevalent till 2014,” he said. This renewed optimism is evident in the belief that “Ab Bharat me kuch bhi ho sakta hai” (Now anything is possible in India).

Stern Action on Terrorism

Modi underscored his government’s decisive actions against terrorism, contrasting it with the previous administration’s approach. He highlighted the surgical strikes and airstrikes as examples of India’s resolve to protect its sovereignty. “Now, India carries out surgical strikes and airstrikes. The country has also demonstrated the capability of serving justice to perpetrators of terrorism,” he stated.

Article 370 and the Transformation of Jammu and Kashmir

The Prime Minister spoke about the abrogation of Article 370 and its positive impact on Jammu and Kashmir. He claimed, “Now, the walls of Article 370 have crumbled, the constitution is vibrant, and stone pelting has stopped.” Modi emphasized the increased participation of the people in democratic processes and their faith in the Indian Constitution.

Economic Achievements and Future Aspirations

Highlighting India’s progress in manufacturing, Modi stated, “In ten years, our government made India a major mobile phone manufacturer and an exporter of mobile phones.” He expressed confidence that similar success would be achieved in the semiconductor and other sectors, with plans to work with “triple speed” in the government’s third term.

Criticism of the Opposition

Prime Minister Modi did not shy away from criticizing the opposition, particularly the Congress party and its leaders. He accused them of misleading the public and engaging in negative politics. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, Modi referred to him as having a “bacha buddhi” (immature mind) and highlighted the Congress party’s declining performance in elections.

Defense of Hindu Dharma

Modi also addressed controversial remarks made by opposition leaders regarding Hindu Dharma. He urged the Hindu community to reflect on whether these insults were mere coincidences or part of a larger scheme. He warned that any conspiracies against the nation’s progress would be met with appropriate responses.

Assurances on Reservation and Youth Concerns

Reaffirming his government’s commitment to social justice, Modi criticized the Congress for its historical stance against reservations. He also assured the youth that his government is serious about preventing incidents of paper leaks and will take stringent actions against those involved.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in the Lok Sabha highlighted his government’s achievements over the past decade and outlined a vision for the future. His emphasis on inclusive development, national security, and economic growth reflects a commitment to transforming India into a global powerhouse. As India looks forward to another term under Modi’s leadership, the focus will be on sustaining this momentum and addressing the challenges that lie ahead.
