Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the middle class in Bengaluru, urging citizens to remain vigilant against the Congress government while highlighting recent incidents of violence and governance issues. Speaking at the Vijaya Sankalpa convention, Modi expressed concern over the safety of citizens, citing the tragic murder of Neha Hiremath, the Rameshwaram Cafe blast, and an attack on a shopkeeper for listening to a Hanuman hymn.
Modi criticized the Congress government’s handling of Bengaluru’s drinking water crisis, accusing it of neglecting infrastructure development and succumbing to corruption. He emphasized the BJP’s support for the middle class, citing initiatives such as interest subsidies for home loans and cost-saving measures on essentials like LED bulbs and medicines.
The Prime Minister urged voters to participate actively in the upcoming elections and highlighted the achievements of his government, including advancements in transportation infrastructure and technological innovation. He pledged to continue working tirelessly for the nation’s progress and development, contrasting his vision with what he termed as the Congress’ regressive stance.
Additionally, Modi promised Karnataka the prospect of a bullet train and highlighted the progress made in various Union government projects in the state, including the expansion of the metro network and the initiation of the suburban rail project.
In his address, Modi positioned himself as a champion of progress and innovation, contrasting his government’s initiatives with what he characterized as the Congress’ anti-development stance.
