What is Andhra Pradesh’s capital? It is no longer Hyderabad. Here’s why

On 2 June, Hyderabad ceased to be the capital of Andhra Pradesh as per the stipulations laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act of 2014. As of now, the state has no capital. The results of the upcoming Assembly elections on 4 June will decide if it will be Amaravati as decided by former CM Chandrababu Naidu or if the state will go with Jagan Mohan Reddy’s three-city plan
